Comment by John Alexander Day on April 6, 2013 at 4:32pm Hi Pam, I will freely admit to painting plein air in very cold temperatures! It is not too bad if you can dress appropriately and drink lots of hot coffee. I however believe you don't have to suffer for your art either! So I do look forward to spring's warmer temps, and the paint not being so stiff, besides myself!

Comment by Lynda Sellar on November 8, 2012 at 7:41pm Hi martha,
Clearly I didn't have a clue where you were! But it is far from Port Hope isn't it? When I lived in Ottawa it might have been a possibility. Maybe we'll meet someday in the summer in some lovely lake place. Lynda
Comment by Martha Laverty Allan on November 7, 2012 at 8:03pm Hi Lynda, no location yet as it depends on who would like to get together. I see you're in Port Hope and I'm near Hawkesbury. Thinking of a place somewhere in between, maybe Charleston Lake area, or ... But that is a lot of travel time because we are so far apart. Oh oh...what do you think? M

Comment by Martha Laverty Allan on November 7, 2012 at 12:34pm Hi Pam, I noticed that Keith has suggested a paint-out for this Sunday in his area. Since the weather is supposed to be warm in the north too, it would be fun to go out & paint. I would prefer a real low key adventure, painting in a civilized location & hope to meet new painters. M
