Travelling Hwy 400 at Major Mac? 1 Reply

If you travel this area you may know a business that sells fibreglas pools on the west side of 400, just south of Major Mac. I'm curious if any pools are outside (I've painted this scene before). If…Continue

That's great. Why don't you post it as a paint-out on the OPAS site?

It's easy to do, guidelines are here.

Who posted mount pleasant Cemetery as a spot? I would be interested in painting that with a group?

Did we paint in Sylvan Park with you, Jennifer? On Google Map it looks heavily treed.

Keith's painting is at Cherry Beach. I did one there and should post it. We did our nocturne painting at Kew Beach - same structure.

Nope, that's in Cherry Beach. I was standing under the tree just across from it when I painted it. I'm not sure if I've ever been to Kew Beach. But then I'm not clear on the name of the other Toronto's beaches. I just know Cheery Beach well as I used to live just north of it in Cabbagetown.

That's in Kew Beach, Keith. There is a structure in Cherry Beach but much harder to make a good painting of it.

I painted that last year. Here's one of my cherry Beach paintings.

Toronto has changed drastically since I lived there. I went to Cherry Beach many times. But haven't been there in about 10 years. Has anyone seen it lately? It may still be a good spot. Otherwise, I love the bluffs.
