We had tons of viewers come by on Saturday to check out the artwork displayed and to vote for the plein air challenge.

I just came back from a business trip in Asia. It was my first time in China and Korea. The weather was lousy, wet, cold and bleak almost every single day. I brought my plein air pack and I hardly got to use it. Regardless it was an awesome trip, made new friends, got to see an amazing part of this planet Earth and most of all I had plenty terrific food. Food! Ahhhh, they can cook well. When I had some free time and it was not freezing I would try to go out and…

Dianne Kehoe said… Hi Dalibor, Thanks for getting in touch! When is your next paint out in Toronto and where? I'd just like to come out and start with sketching.
With the best intentions to paint, life threw a curve ball and there is no painting for me this weekend. Hopefully, at this moment, you are in a lovely spot, sheltered from the elements, painting your heart out.

Kevin Hunt said… Hey Dalibor. Thanks for your friend request. I have not been out to paint with anyone yet. I am just learning and didn't want to join the others as I didn't want to slow them down. I thought I might go out on my own and try to figure some things out, and having done so, then join the others.
At this point I am still trying to figure out how to manipulate the paint and brush properly, learn about values...So, I've got a long way to go
Anyway Dalibor, it was good to hear from you. I hope your Toronto Island paintout went well. I'd love to see some photos of everyone's work.
I look forward to getting together to paint at some point.
KEvin.
